D&B Small Business Solutions Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our customer refund and service credit policy for products, services and memberships is as follows:

Products Bought on Our Website or with a D&B Associate:

The depth of information in domestic D&B credit decision reports will vary based on the information collected directly from the report subject and third party sources, presence or absence of public filings, credit activity and age of business. D&B credit decision reports may or may not contain financial statements, trade information, principal antecedents and/or public filings. The minimum level of information is defined as the delivery of a credit decisioning score which provides the user with a baseline of credit-oriented information to make a risk management decision.

No refunds, service credits or returns will be issued for reports ordered and delivered on the Small Business wesbsite where a credit decisioning score has been provided and the information contained in the business file has been verified.

These policies apply to orders placed on-line or by phone, and paid via credit card, eCheck or by invoice. Our customer refund and service credit policy for products, services and memberships is as follows:

  1. For a Credit Builder and CreditBuilder Plus, a unique DUNS number and business credit file are created, and for CreditBuilder Plus, if credit references are submitted then D&B will call these references on behalf of your company. For ScoreBuilder, ScoreBuilder Plus, upgrade to CreditBuilder Plus, upgrade to CreditBuilder Premium and upgrade to ScoreBuilder, if credit references are submitted then D&B will call these references on behalf of your company. Because of D&B's reliance on the cooperation from your creditors or references, D&B cannot guarantee the completeness of the information in your credit file. Due to the extensive amount of work required to complete the file, cancellations and refunds will not be accepted. If, however, the requested services were not provided in a reasonable timeframe, cancel/refund requests will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
  2. For monthly renewing DNBi SelfMonitor, there is a 3 month minimum commitment. If the customer cancels prior to fulfilling the minimum commitment, the customer will be charged for 3 months of service.
  3. For the monthly billed DUNS Registered service, there is a 3 month initial commitment. Customers requesting cancellation during that initial 3 month period will be billed for 3 months of service as per the commitment. After the initial 3 month period, customers may request cancellation at any time. If request is made within the first 14 days of the monthly billing cycle, the customer will receive a refund of that most recent monthly charge; if request is made 15 days or more after the monthly billing date, customer will not receive a refund of the most recent monthly charge.
  4. Please contact the Client Services Team at 800.333.0505 since refund policies for these services do vary by D&B business partner.

The unused portion from prior purchased services made through the Small Business Solutions website and/or through a Small Business Group consultant cannot be applied as a credit towards other D&B contracts and services unless approved by the Small Business Group at time of sale.

All refund or service credit requests should be directed to sbssupport@dnb.com or you can call 800.333.0505. No cash refunds or services credits are issued outside of this policy. The appearance of a credit card refund on your account may take 3-5 days based on the time of the bank issuing the card. Cancellation of D&B invoices can take 3-5 business days.

The Small Business Group Terms and Conditions and this Refund & Cancellation Policy may be amended from time to time. Any amendment is effective upon either a posting of the latest version on the Customer Service web page (Customer Service), or upon notice by electronic mail or U.S. mail. Your continued use of the licensed products following notice of any such amendment shall be conclusively deemed an acceptance of such amendment.
