Owen Seitel

Owen Seitel is a principal and founding partner of Idell & Seitel LLP, a San Francisco litigation and business transactions law firm. Owen represents individuals and businesses in transactions and litigation involving intellectual property and business matters including multimedia and technology creation, protection, licensing and distribution, business start-up and evolution matters including entity selection and formation, financing, strategic alliances, mergers/acquisitions, equity compensation arrangements, branding issues and labor law matters. Owen Seitel focuses on the representation of clients in the converging entertainment, sports, new media and technology sectors including creators, licensors and distributors of all forms of digital content.

Owen Seitel is a former adjunct professor at Golden Gate University School of Law and a frequent panelist at various technology, multimedia, sports, law and entertainment industry conferences. He is a member of the California and San Francisco Bar Associations and the ABA Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industries. Mr. Seitel currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Headlands Center for the Arts.
