Name Your Company
You have your presentation ready for investors. You’ve done your research. You know your market, your idea’s potential, and the competition. What you don’t know is what to call your new business. It’s a common dilemma. And, unfortunately, there isn’t always a quick fix. The name you choose will likely be critical to your company's overall success. So give the naming process the same level of research and thought that you gave to developing your idea. Start with a pool of potential names. And consider the following criteria for your selection: The name should be memorable and unique. It should describe what you do, and/or it should project an image in line with your business or products/services. And you want to find a name that’s available—not owned by another company.
