Hire and Manage a Salesforce
A small business can have the best products or services, but without a good sales team to promote the offering and close the deal, that business may become an ex-business in short order. What makes a good sales team? You need people who are confident, persistent, competitive, and energetic. They should appreciate a challenge, be able to cope with rejection, and have great listening skills. As part of an in-house team, your salespeople will devote their efforts to promoting your offering and won't have their focus diluted by representing multiple companies. The more you train your sales staff, the better they'll be at answering customer questions and making sales.
