Training
You want successful, productive employees who can play a critical role in building your small business. A training program can help you achieve that goal by providing employees with the skills for success. What will it take to create such a program? You probably don't have a large budget for training, so make sure your efforts are as efficient as possible. Identify the skills that will be needed today and tomorrow, and concentrate your resources on teaching those skills. As your business changes, adjust your training for the new requirements. Work with a few employees and gather their feedback to fine-tune the program before you make it available to a large group.
