How Do I Create an Effective Business Card?

A good business card can make a lasting first impression and help open doors to new business alliances. When designing your card, begin by ensuring it is up-to-date with your business's current address, telephone number, and e-mail address. If your company isn't well-known, or if its name doesn't explain what you do, consider including a statement that sums it up such as "Professional Roofer."

When designing your card, include a logo if you have one, and be aware that color is the most effective way to make your card pop. That said, it's how you distribute your card that will drive the most sales. Make sure to pass them out at every opportunity.
